She also launched GIFFT an exclusive line of wines in partnership with Scheid Family Vineyards in Monterey CA. Recently, she made her debut as a director for the short film The God Who Speaks, which starred Nicole C. Mullen. The film's two wrote the music together. Gifford has a number of charitable organizations for children which include Childhelp as well as the Association to Benefit Children. The two organizations were the inspiration behind Cassidy's Place & Cody House which was named in honor of her kids. Marymount University awarded her honorary diplomas for her humanitarian efforts she carried out in the field of labor relations.
