Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974 in Aviano Italy), American actress. Amy Lou Adams is famous for her naive roles that are charming and likable. Adams was born in Italy as her father worked with the U.S. military and she grew up within Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven children. Mid-1990s, she started professional dancing and performed at Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. In the following year in Minnesota in a small local theatre she was chosen to be a part of the mock documentary about beauty pageants titled Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her screen debut was a huge success with the role of an unfriendly, but obnoxious contestant, Janet moved from Minnesota to Los Angeles where she began a professional acting career. She also raised Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was discovered by actress Norma Shearer and signed a contract to join MGM during the 1940s. Through the years that followed, she appeared in many well-known films like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), and Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
