Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28 1967 in the home of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. She is the Robertses' fourth generation who reside in the Atlanta area beginning from her maternal grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father took an early interest in stage. While an undergraduate at Emory University, he performed on stage in various productions around Atlanta. In 1953, he was a member of the Air Force, and was stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in the production of Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple tied the knot and their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter was studying at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957 they left the airforce and Walter started his education at Tulane University. Walter started work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. In 1964, Walter together with Betty Lou began production on a local children's Saturday morning television program called Bum Bum and His Buddies that they designed and funded. The following year they started the Actors and Writers Workshop which operated for a period of six years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) as well as Julia (also called Julie) during this period.
